GROUNDBREAKING WATER RESEARCH FACILITY OPENS IN TUAM

A groundbreaking Water Research Facility has been officially opened by the Minister for Local Services Michael Finneran in Tuam.
Located on the site of the Tuam Waste Water Treatment Plant, the NUI Galway facility will be a test bed for new waste water treatment technologies.
The EPA funded facility is one of the only such places in Europe which allows researchers experiment in realistic conditions.
