THREE YOUTHS QUESTIONED OVER BALLINASLOE FILLING STATION FIRE

A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions after two youths were arrested in connection with a malicious fire at a Ballinasloe business last weekend.
The fire broke out at 3 o'clock on Sunday morning at a car business to the rear of Dolan's filling station in Kilgarve.
The garage and four cars were extensively damaged by the fire, causing an estimated 12,000 euro worth of damages.
Ballinasloe Gardaí identified a number of youths as suspects and two youths under 18 were arrested on Sunday and questioned in connection with the incident.
They were released without charge on Sunday night and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
A third youth was also interviewed in relation to the fire.
