CITY COUNCIL APPROVES NEW STAND FOR MERVUE UNITED

Mervue United fans are getting a new seated stand.
The city council has approved an application by Mervue United Football Club to develop a seated stand for 500 people at their grounds in Mervue.
City councillors voted to approve Mervue United's new stand proposal at last evening's council meeting.
The development will include new dressing rooms, hospitality area and press box, an enclosure for competition soccer, landscaping, turnstile building, a new 16 metre high floodlight surrounded by a perimeter fence.
