Supermodels strut in Galway
September 28, 2007 - 3:23pmSupermodels Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista and singing icon Grace Jones will be strutting their stuff on a city ramp in November or early December.
The stars will be coming to town to model hats designed by Galway milliner, Philip Treacy in the G Hotel to celebrate its second birthday. Treacy, who designed the hotel’s interior in shocking pinks, purples and black, has known in his adopted London as the ‘royal milliner’ for designing Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall’s wedding hats.
The hotel has also won a number of international design award for its interior and Espa, which includes a rooftop Japanese garden retreat. The exclusive fashion event is being held in the hotel and is set to be a glittering occasion following as his outrageous hat designs, regarded as sculpture, are always set to cause a stir as well as being very photogenic.
