It's hoped normal water levels will be restored to homes in the Barna and Moycullen area within 48 hours.

The households are still experiencing water supply disruptions and outages as the reservoir at Tonabrocky has not replenished overnight.

It's been affected by low water levels in the River Corrib due to the current dry spell.
