SLIGO WOMAN WINS BEST DRESSED LADY AT GALWAY RACES
A Sligo woman has won the Anthony Ryans Best Dressed Lady Competition at the Galway Races this afternoon.
Suzanne McGarry won best dressed at Ballybrit with a red knee-length dress
The vintage 1960s dress also has a high neck that comes to the collar bone, with a small bow at the back.
Her hat is a dome shaped cream and black hat, embellished with pearls and handmade silk roses.
She beat off stiff competition from 49 other finalists in the Best Dressed Competition today.
The winner of the 'Best Hat' is Sieglinde Mullers from Moycullen, designed by Edel Ramberg.
It's on a cream and beige base with signature swirl look and orchids infused with crystals.
Her prize is a 15 hundred euro shopping spree at Anthony Ryans.
