TWO MEN IN COURT IN OUGHTERARD MURDER INVESTIGATION
February 3, 2012 - 12:31pmTwo men are appearing in court this morning [3/2] in connection with the killing of Oughterard teacher and publican John Kenny last September.
The men who are aged 17 and 36 were arrested in Cork city just before midnight and brought to Galway to Millstreet Garda Station.
They have been charged in relation to the investigation and are now appearing before a special sitting of Galway District Court
56 year old John Kenny was found dead with his hands tied behind his back at his pub in Main Street in Oughterard on the 25th September last year.
Meanwhile Romanian National Florin Fitzpatrick is due before Harristown District Court today.
He was first arrested in September and is charged with with-holding information in relation to the ongoing murder investigation.
