UHG RECORDS 4.5% ABSENTEEISM RATE
February 4, 2012 - 2:22pmUniversity Hospital Galway has a daily absenteeism rate of over 4.5%.
New figures show that 140 staff call in sick at UHG every day out of a total of 3 thousand and 84 employees.
According to the Irish Independent, the newcastle facility comes in at number nine in the national list of hospitals with sickest staff with Mullingar the worst affected at a rate of over 7.4%.
