COUNTY COUNCIL BRIEFED ON DANGERS OF RADON GAS

A representative from the Radiological Protection Institute of Ireland has addressed Galway county council in light of the county's high radon levels

Galway has the second highest percentage of houses in the country affected by high levels of radon gas

Only County Sligo has higher concentrations of the potentially dangerous gas
