Performing arts students take to stage with Shakespeare's Twelfth Night
April 20, 2012 - 7:00amAll Stars Academy of Performing Arts will be performing their eleventh production since 1999 at the TF Royal Theatre. This family show production of one of Shakespeare's great comedies, ‘Twelfth Night’, will be showing on the April 29 at 1.30 and 6.30 and on May 1 at 6.30pm (senior cast), with the junior cast taking to the stage on April 30 at 6.30pm. Tickets are available from the Academy on 087 9888841.
The All Stars Academy are teaching Speech and Drama and Ballet at Studios at Ballyheane, Claremorris and Shrule and have all been working very hard over the past months for this production.
The Academy are very lucky to have some great talent who will be performing in the Senior and Junior casts – in particular Ian Reilly (Sir Toby) who has just recently been filming for ‘Moone Boy’ with Chris O’Dowd, Jonny Vegas and Steve Coogan in Boyle.
They also have Shane Cunningham (Sir Toby) who has been performing in the TG4 show ‘Feis & Blood’, and Jack McKenna (Malvolio) who started with the Academy when he was 7 years old and who has been accepted from his first audition for Arts Educational London, one of the UK’s most distinguished drama, performing arts and music theatre colleges.
Principals Eleanoir Cazabon-Regan and Phil Roberts are extremely proud of all their students taking part in this educational production.
