CLIFDEN CELEBRATES 200 YEAR ANNIVERSARY
May 25, 2012 - 3:12pmA ten day festival celebrating the 200th anniversary of the founding of Clifden town begins this evening [May 25].
The festival is the high point of a year long series of events to mark the first steps in establishing a town in the far west of Connemara in 1812.
