O CUIV NO COMMENT ON REINSTATMENT TO FIANNA FAIL PARTY
June 15, 2012 - 5:56pmGalway TD Eamon O' Cuív says he has no comment to make on a motion to re-instate him to the Fianna Fail front bench.
The issue is expected to come before the Fianna Fáil National Executive at Leinster House next week.
Eamon De Valera’s grandson was stripped of the party’s deputy leadership title over his opposition to the EU fiscal treaty.
He later agreed to a Fiscal Treaty vow of silence to remain in Fianna Fail.
Last month, the West Connemara Comhairle Ceantair passed a motion unanimously to have O' Cuív re-instated to the party's front bench.
The issue is expected to be raised at the party's National executive next Wednesday.
Speaking to Galway Bay FM News, Eamon O' Cuív would make no comment, only to say it's now a matter for Michael Martin and the executive to iron out.
