VOLVO SHIP CONTAINING ENTIRE RACE VILLAGE ARRIVES INTO GALWAY DOCKS
The giant cargo ship carrying the Volvo Ocean Race village is arriving into Galway Docks
The Dutch vessel has made its way from Lisbon with 62 crates of the assembly-ready spectator village on board.
The containers include components to make up each team base and the Volvo pavillion.
Harbour Master Captain Brian Sheridan says it's the first real container ship ever to enter Galway Bay.
Unloading will start at 8 this evening.
