GALWAY PROPERTIES SELL IN DUBLIN AUCTION
July 7, 2012 - 3:01pmNine Galway property lots have fetched over three quarters of a million euro after going under the hammer in Dublin.
The properties formed part of the catalogue in the country's latest distressed property auction.
10 Galway lots went under the hammer in the latest Allsop distressed property auction in Dublin.
Just one of those , a 3 bedroom semi detached house in Derrymullen Ballinasloe, failed to sell.
The remaining nine Galway lots fetched a total of €853,000.
These included a vacant freehold house in Forster Street Galway city which fetched €132,000 and a 3 bedroom house in Devon Park, Salthill which went for €117,500.
Across the county, a five bedroom house on the Dublin road in Loughrea reached a sale price of €165,000 and 5.4 acres of land at Rindifin, Ennis Road Gort fetched €94,000 euro.
Other properties in the city, Clifden and Tuam all sold over their reserve prices.
