CITY COUNCIL APPROVED FOR ONE MILLION EURO WATER INVESTMENT
Galway City Council has been given the green light to proceed with a one million euro investment in its water services.
Louth Company, G.Kelly site developments limited is to carry out the works under the national water conservation programme in Galway city.
The works involve the repair of leaks in the city's water collection network along with the fitting of meters and valves on existing watermains.
Galway West TD Sean Kyne says this investment will help city council identify and reduce losses from the public water supply.
