STATE PATHOLOGIST TO CARRY OUT POST MORTEM ON LETTERMULLEN BODY
The state pathologist is expected to carry out a postmortem this evening on the body of a man washed up on a Connemara beach yesterday
The body, which has yet to be identified, was discovered just before 3pm yesterday on Tra Dhireain Huston in Lettermullen
The body was then airlifted from the water by the Coastguard at around 5pm and transferred to UHG
The circumstances surrounding the man's death are not yet known and Gardaí have an open mind at this point in the investigation
