IT will be a family affair on the treble as three sets of twins return to Castlefrench National School tomorrow - with another duo waiting in the wings for their turn to come!

James and Anna Donoghue, both aged seven, and their five year old sisters Katie and Rachel will be getting ready to return to the school along with their six year old cousins Ruth and Rachel O’Connor.

Busy mum Maura Donoghue says getting ready for school in the mornings is “crazy” and described it as “organised chaos.”

“We make sure we have everything left out the night before; football boots; clothes; lunches etc. Then in the mornings between everything, it takes about an hour to get out of the house,” she said.

It’s a big year for James and Anna who are going into second class where they will be preparing for their Holy Communion next year.
Katie and Rachel are going into Senior Infants while cousins Ruth and Rachel will be going into first class, just a year behind their cousins.
