THREE INVESTIGATIONS INTO SALTHILL HELICOPTER DOOR INCIDENT
Britain's Ministry of Defence, the Irish Aviation Authority, and Gardaí have launched inquiries into how three people were injured in an incident involving one of their aircraft at the Salthill Airshow yesterday
One of the side doors fell off a RAF Merlin Helicopter after it took off from Salthill Park and was heading out over the beach towards Galway Bay
The door fell about a hundred feet and three spectators were brought to hospital with minor injuries but have since been discharged
