GARDAI MOVE STUDENT PROTESTORS FROM CITY CENTRE

Student Protestors have been moved from the office of Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs, Eamon O'Cuiv.

About 30 students gathered outside the office on Flood Street in the city campaigning against the possible re-introduction of third level fees.

Almost 20 students staged an in-house protest at the constituency office for over an hour and a half.

A spokesperson for Minister O'Cuiv told Galway Bay FM News that Gardai were called over concerns for staff at the Constituency office.

Student protestors have now been moved on.
