A MULTI-MILLION euro investment in third level education in Galway City is to be announced later today (Tuesday) with the Government set to sanction the construction of a new engineering building on the university’s campus.
The Sentinel has learned that the Minister for Education Batt O’Keefe — who has come under fire from teachers, parents and students for his Budget cuts in education — will be in the city this evening to announce a €50 million investment at NUI Galway.
