An emerging alliance of dedicated research centres for Disability, Ageing, children and families at NUI Galway will give a voice to the world's largest minorities.

That's according to Former President of Ireland, Dr Mary Robinson who has launched Europe's first centre for Disability Law and Policy at NUI Galway. [fri apr 3]

The centre will create solutions for people with disabilities living in Ireland and offer policy options to the Government.

Speaking to a large audience at Aras Moyola, Mary Robinson said people researching policy issues for Disability will no longer have to work in silence.
