house hold charge
I don't honestly think this a decision to left to public representatives. To the men and women who this effects, there has not been full disclosure on what exactly are you registering for. Is there in the future another consequence to registering. Yesterday on the Pat Kenny show there was a discussion between Pat and a barrister about a video that suggested there was no need to pay the house hold charge. However it appears that the barrister was probably not as informed as he could be and it has also transpired that a recording has also surfaced on the internet a call to the company who are dealing with the house hold charge who clearly say no to the question are we lawfully obliged to register.
the first video is the video i believe Pat is talking about.
and the second is the call made to the company who are dealing with the house hold charge and pat talking to the Barrister.

Household charges
Re the above charges,we are told that the charge is for utilities and services. Fair enough. All local authority houses are exempt from these charges. Do they not have the same utilities and services as we have??????? Seems lacking in balance!!!!!!!!!!
why ?
What is the purpose of the charge ?
A clearly unfair charge that
A clearly unfair charge that does not discriminate who can afford to pay and who cannot. There is a need to bring back a local charge if we want local services, but it has to be fair and well thought out. This is just futile as it was at the behest of the Troika, and not our own choice.
the people are speaking volumes, ignore at your peril, step2far!
rather unanimous!! looks like it game on if ye want it!!
